London's 'only bespoke bed linen service'
announces MYS debut
French designer Leonora Beaubois
made her mark in London with
'a fresh approach', and is now
heading to MYS 2012
The only company in London that provides an entirely bespoke bed linen service is making its debut appearance at this year's Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
For the first time, L&B will have its own stand at MYS 2012. According to a statement issued by the company, the stand will showcase L&B's, "unrivalled range of super-luxe linens to a discerning international clientele."
L&B was launched in 2005 by French owner Leonora Beaubois, a fourth-generation linen designer who runs L&B's London office while her cousins and brother head-up the company's stores in the South of France.
Leonora has popularised what L&B's website calls her own "young and fresh" approach to linen design. "She loves to mix colours, materials and textures for her bedroom, dining room and bathroom accessories," reads the website.
Leonora and her team's work has been used aboard a number of impressive superyachts. These included a beautiful sailing boat with Rabih Hage, award-winning yachts Quinta Essentia with Reverberi Design in Italy and Celestial Hope with Intarya, built by Heesen Yachts.
On Celestial Hope, L&B created all of the linen on the yacht so it was entirely made-to-measure. Embroidered logos were sewed onto all pieces, from the bed linen to the deck towels and to slippers. All bedrooms had cashmere throws and cushions to complement the yacht's soft furnishings.
"The L&B approach is about attention to detail and bespoke solutions to achieve the client's aspirations," said a statement released by the company from MYS 2012.
"Bespoke options include completely flexible sizes, a choice of high-quality Egyptian cottons, a monogramming service, embroidery, lace, colour-matching service (thread and cotton) and a complimentary design service."
L&B's prices are determined by size, style and cotton selected, says the company. "In addition, L&B has developed a complementary range of cashmere throws and cushions that can be colour-matched to L&B bed linen."
